Rights of Way
The Footpaths Section cooperates with Kent County Council (KCC) in helping to preserve public rights of way, alerting the local authority where necessary to obstacles or unauthorised diversions to footpaths.
All walkers are urged to contact Kent County Council to report problems. Their Countryside Access Service is responsible for 4200 miles of footpaths, bridleways and byways and the web-site provides useful information about access rights and the Service’s work. They can be contacted by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, by phone 0845 345 0210, or using their on-line fault reporting and tracking service at www.kent.gov.uk/prowfaults.
But do also tell us of any significant problems you encounter when using local rights of way, or any changes to footpaths or recommended walks.
