Sevenoaks 900: People, politics, and progress: a new history of Sevenoaks 1790-1914

David Killingray, the President of the Sevenoaks Historical Society, has taught in schools and universities in Britain, Africa, and the Caribbean. Several of his recent publications are on Kent, and particularly on Sevenoaks, including, with Elizabeth Purves, Sevenoaks. An Historical Dictionary (2012). He is co-author, with Dr Iain Taylor, of the forthcoming book, An English Market Town: Sevenoaks 1790-1914.
