Archaeology at Knole

Archaeology at Knole

Talk by Nathalie Cohen.

Our first talk since the holidays will be given by Nathalie Cohen, National Trust archaeologist. You may remember that she gave us a most impressive talk on Knole last year. Her new talk will cover different areas at Knole. This talk will outline some of the discoveries made during the National Trust’s long-running conservation project at Knole focusing on recording and research which helped us to understand more about the development of the medieval palace of the Archbishops of Canterbury. The presentation will also include discussion of the archaeological work currently underway at Canterbury Cathedral. We look forward to seeing you at St Luke’s Hall on Wednesday 11th September 2019. The Hall will be open from 7.30, coffee and tea available.
