Special Events

We shall start with a guided tour (11.30 to 1.00 pm) of the Cathedral (after Canterbury, the first of the English cathedrals built), including inspection in the crypt of the Textus Roffensis with the earliest mention of Sevenoaks.

Then (between 1.00 and 2.00pm) there will be lunch (sandwich platter, crisps, tea/coffee and cake) in the crypt café.

A short walk from the Cathedral is the magnificent Norman castle, where we shall be given a short guided tour, before dispersing to enjoy climbing the keep etc.

The cost (not refundable) will be £27 per member (including lunch), each of whom can bring one guest (same price).
