Ground floor, light framed black metal shop front in three equal bays and a fourth slightly wider and set back from rear of pavement with windows splayed back to single glazed matching black metal door. Single four panel white painted timber door to left giving access to rear of property and upper floor with fanlight over and white painted timber door jambs to each side and to right of shop front. Medium depth black painted lead flashed timber fascia over with simple gilt ‘Bean Couture’ lettering and ‘crown’ logo each side.

First floor, two twelve pane sash windows set almost symmetrically in buff stock brick façade and with white painted reveals, rubbed brick headers and concrete cills.

Roof, slate tiles and ridge with black half round gutter on white painted projecting timber eaves; single white painted downpipe on right hand side. Single brick chimney stack to left at roof ridge level.

Comment:

A small former cottage making a nice contrast with the size of its windows and its chimney and very important in the gradual change of scale between the main town and Upper High Street. The security wiring to the window glazing gives an odd effect.
