Town Medical Centre

Description:

On two floors set back from rear pavement to London Road and divided vertically in two, LHS forms access to Town Medical Centre over Building 21-23.

LHS, ground floor three bay full height timber framed glazed panels with single door to LHS and two fixed lights. Brick pier to LHS and return brick wall to RHS.

RHS, ground floor full height timber framed glazed panel link between buildings 25 and 27 with single panel and door to RHS.

LHS, first floor and roof, plain clay tiles to first floor level with single two leaf casement to dormer with plain tile hipped roof and cheeks.

RHS, first floor full height timber framed glazed two panel under mono pitched hipped roof in plain clay tiles.

Set back from rear pavement provides small paved area divided by noticeboard on timber ‘gallows’ set in brick enclosed planter.

Comment:

Clean modern addition to existing building, the set back providing break in street scene.
