Society Response: The Society joined a coalition of local resident’s groups in opposing the appeal and helping to fund representation at the public inquiry.
Comments: The Society considered that if development were to be allowed on this particularly environmentally sensitive site then no site in the Green Belt adjacent to the town would be safe from development.
