Charles Dickens is thought to have stayed here on his visits to Sevenoaks. His younger daughter Kate, her second husband Carlo Perugini and their son, who died at seven months, are all buried in St Nicholas churchyard.

Description:
C18 with C19 bay window and porch additions and modern rendering. 3-window façade. Ridge tile roof with 3 flat-roofed leaded dormers. Centre projecting stucco porch. Square projecting bays on either side of the porch carried up two storeys with large square-paned modern casement windows. C18 sash window in centre above porch. Front perimeter wall of brick with solid gate in rectangular brick arch with coping above.
